Sephiria Beginner Checklist: Prepare Your Next Run

A practical path through village unlocks, talents, starting items and your first inventory decisions.

Prepare one simple plan

Before starting another run, choose the weapon you can actually use and one effect you want to build around. The checklist below helps you make that opening consistent; you do not need a finished endgame build to follow it.

At home: unlock, allocate, select

Work through these checks before entering the dungeon. Skip a system that is still locked and follow its village task when it becomes available.

  • Check Destiny Inscription for an unfinished village task, especially Home Repairs or your desired weapon training.
  • Allocate only the talent points you have. Read the threshold effect before committing to an imprinting layout or a brought-item setup.
  • If the Wishing Fountain is unlocked, select an eligible opening artifact within its capacity.
  • If presets are unlocked, load or save the setup, then inspect the actual weapon, costume, talents and starting items.

At a reward: read before replacing

Open the artifact description and compare its effect with the attack you use. Keep pieces that support your chosen plan; a rare item is not automatically helpful to that plan. Before discarding an existing piece, check whether removing it breaks a combo.

In the bag: inspect the affected cells

Read each tablet’s activation condition and direction. Move one piece at a time and compare the artifact level before and after. If the level does not change, check the placement condition before assuming the tablet is broken.

After the run, choose the next permanent upgrade based on the problem you encountered: a locked weapon, too few talent points or a cramped inventory. The linked guides below provide the detailed steps for each system.
