What a preset does
Presets save your departure setup, including weapons, costumes, talents and fruit skewers. There are 15 slots from update 1.0.26 onward. A preset cannot unlock equipment, grant missing talent points or change your setup during exploration.
Unlock Talent, Wishing Fountain and Fruit Skewer before looking for presets. If the feature is missing, finish those village unlocks first.
Save your own starting setup
Open Preset Settings before departure. Use Create with current setup to save the equipment and choices you already have. Give the slot a recognizable name; an empty name is rejected. Use the copy-to-clipboard control when you want to share that preset.
Saving over a slot replaces its setup. Lock a slot you want to protect from edits. Delete Slot permanently removes the saved setup, so copy its code before deleting anything you may want again.
Import a code from the clipboard
Use an empty slot or a slot you are willing to replace before pasting another setup.
- Copy the actual exported preset data. A build-page URL or a list of item names is not preset data.
- In Preset Settings, select the intended slot and enable Edit Mode. Use the control that saves the preset from the clipboard to the slot.
- Confirm loading the copied preset into that slot. Check the loaded choices before using Load Preset or Save & Load Preset.
- Read any warning about default values, then inspect your current setup before departure. Successful import alone does not mean every choice was applied.
Fix an import or load error
Match the message shown in the game to the relevant check below.
- Empty clipboard: copy the preset again, then retry the paste action.
- Invalid format or invalid data: copy the complete export again without surrounding prose. If it still fails, ask for a fresh export and compare game versions.
- Edit Mode required or slot locked: enable editing or unlock the intended slot before changing it.
- Locked weapon, costume, skin or artifact: unlock that choice or replace it with an available one. Importing cannot bypass the lock.
- Locked talents or insufficient points: revise the allocation to fit your available talents and budget.
- Invalid fruit skewer or partial-load warning: reselect a valid skewer and check every entry listed as falling back to a default.
Use the written build alongside the preset
Keep the build guide open for weapon upgrades, reward priorities and the later inventory layout. A departure preset is only the starting setup; you still need to follow the route during the run. When a guide has no usable code, enter its available starting choices manually and save your own preset.
