Why players are repeating it
Several separate formal-release clips use the lightning Dagger family against late bosses. The newest Deer guide argues that electrocution is strong enough to avoid depending on a full critical-hit package; that is the creator's assessment, not a controlled comparison.

Use safe attack windows to maintain Weapon Attack follow-ups. Parry-triggered lightning belongs to a separate historical variant; do not make risky parries mandatory when following the current Deer Lightning’s Wrath route.
