Build the loop first
Lightning Boomerang is the damage engine. Jolow's Watering Can, 200 maximum MP and a north-facing Golden Needle of the North form the preset's required interaction. Finish those three requirements before spending heavily on critical damage.
- Place Golden Needle directly south of Lightning Boomerang
- Reach 200 maximum MP
- Keep Dagger as the fast attack trigger
Pickup order
Take Jolow's Watering Can whenever the preset is still achievable, then solve maximum MP and orientation. Add Jeweled Armor and Kirin's Horn next. Scythe of Berut belongs after the critical engine, while Glowing Hourglass is an early cooldown fix rather than the route's final payoff.
How to play it
Cast through the center of a group, move with the outbound projectile and cross its return line to collect the cooldown refund. Keep targets inside both passes. Dagger attacks fill the downtime, but do not chase a few extra hits and miss the returning boomerang.
Inventory discipline
Treat the north-facing relationship as part of the build, not decoration. Reserve the required cells before the bag becomes crowded. Protect MP pieces until the 200 breakpoint is secure; critical damage is a lower priority when the doubled loop is not active.
When to pivot
Leave this route when Jolow's Watering Can, the 200 MP breakpoint or the required orientation cannot be completed. A strong Dagger bag can still pivot into Burning Fang or another weapon-led route instead of carrying an incomplete Grimoire package.
